Welcome to my blog!
I have always wanted to convey my thoughts about ramblings in a more concise and organized manner. Since I like to write things, maybe this could be a good way to share some insights.
The topic is rhythm games, but I don't want to write guides. Frankly, it is a difficult task that requires a lot of resources and time. It can be done, it has been done by others. I prefer a more laid-back approach. Let's just talk about things.
I think I have a good amount of experience and knowledge in rhythm games. I believe that there's also a lot to be said about different aspects that aren't necessarily obvious, or ones that players sometimes think about. Or don't! This is a rather niche genre of games, so there probably aren't many sources of theorycrafting or analysis. Or maybe there are, but mostly in Japanese. Maybe I can help with that but in English!
I am certainly not the absolute authority. You may disagree with things I say, you may be a better player. Or a different player. That's fine! Regardless of whether you resonate with my words or treat them as complete bullshit, I have already reached my goal. That is, for someone to read those words and think about them. I really like talking about rhythm games, so I'll happily spark some dialogue about them!
I'm not particularly good with text design or some aesthetics of the page. For that I'm sorry. Maybe you can feel like reading a 00s blog with raw text. Actually, I kind of like that idea.
I plan to tackle a variety of topics across different games, concepts or ideas. There isn't any set target or goal of this - those topics will be mostly what I'm recently pondering about. But, based on my experiences, I hope I can show you some valuable perspectives. Of course, while not strictly a guide, I will try to show you various examples and lines of thinking in an attempt to convince you to my point of view!
Ahh. This was supposed to be an introduction, and I'm already writing some paragraphs. Anyway, the goal is to write a new piece of an "article" every Saturday. Let's see if I'm able to keep up the pace. Naturally, if you have some ideas or want me to talk about a topic, let me know. It can be anything!
Thank you for reading and I hope you can enjoy my streams of consciousness!
